El Cerrito is a great place for breakfast. The place is likely a favorite for locals. It's a half hour commute for me, I've been several times and the meal is always delicious. I do wish though that they would update their booths as the seats are rather worn and can be uncomfortable. Service is always friendly.Food: 5/5 View all feedback.
What Carolyne Ullrich doesn't like about El Cerrito Cafe:
I have no idea why this establishment has such a high rating besides the fact breakfast places are limited in this location. I had the worst biscuits and gravy of my life so far, watered down and taste of cheap butter. you could really taste how they use the same skillet for everything. I took two bites and decided to leave it be. Bottom shelf potatoes. Service was subpar as well. Also why does nobody talk about how... View all feedback.
I had a disappointing experience at this restaurant. The customer service was lacking, and the menudo was way too salty. I requested my tortillas three times, but they never arrived. I also asked for my sarg multiple times, but it never came either. I won't be returning.
Fantastic variety of food with delicious flavors and generous portions. The staff is very attentive and friendly! However, the atmosphere feels slightly worn.
Small local café for breakfast. needs a place to eat (friends near the hotel) great eating! we all have breakfast burritos a little wet a little dry. while my dry was, I tasted the greenish chili that was excellent! I wish I had got my wet! eating is quite reasonable
I can't belive I've driven past this place for years and not stopped. I'm kicking myself. Such great people and food!
The customer service was outstanding, and I will definitely be coming back to this place.
