The staff were wonderful to work with; I... read more I took my team here for our Christmas breakfast celebration (we had 18 people), and the food was absolutely fantastic. The staff were wonderful to work with; I had pre-ordered all the meals, and they were served within just 20 minutes of our arrival, which was impressive. The owner was also a pleasure to deal with. The portion sizes were generous, and everyone left with full bellies and big smiles. I highly recommend this place to everyone! By the way, I tried the gluten-free smashed avocado, and it was delicious (I posted a picture of it). My colleagues at the table had the massive burger (also in the picture) and the big breakfast, both of which were equally delightful!

Fortunately, I ma... read more This morning, I stopped by Weta Café for some food and coffee. I arrived shortly after they opened and was surprised to find the place packed. Fortunately, I managed to snag a nice table and ordered my usual eggs Benedict with bacon, a large cappuccino with chocolate, and an iced chocolate drink. The service was excellent, and the atmosphere was lovely with a great vibe—not to mention the pleasant hum of conversation, the sounds of food and coffee being prepared, and people enjoying their delicious meals and drinks. This is definitely a café you should visit at least once when you're in or passing through Coromandel.

It's a wonderful place to visit as a human, and I even had some unexpected guests during my meal—a pair of ducks, a large tabby cat, and several lively birds stopped by to join the ambiance.

Th... read more We woke up with a craving for eggs Bennie and did Weta cafe ever deliver! Great staff, super switched on and both meals came cooked and served to perfection. The vegetarian version with Veggie Hash Cake, Mushies, fresh greens (and more was spectacular. And our coffees were both excellent as well as the good old classic tunes playing. Top marks! (They were a bit prettier when served but we had to taste test before deciding to post!
