I ordered the fish and chips, but the fish was so poorly prepared that it was almost inedible. My husband ended up feeling sick that night. We didn't even ask for the bill—it wasn't worth it. The place was nearly empty, and our waitress was completely forgettable; she mostly spent her time chatting with other staff instead of attending to customers. Overall, it felt very inconsiderate towards those who work there. The atmosphere was awful, the food was subpar, and the staff came across as rude. I would NOT recommend this restaurant.

The menu primarily focuses on seafood, but you can also find burgers and some delicious salads. I ordered a "small" garden salad that turned out to be quite large and very tasty, followed by a plate of fish and chips that I enjoyed as well. I would definitely return.

So many places had funky hours or a bazillion limits on what you could get, like crabs that was so unhelpful - but at Sun Dog everyone was super nice from the hostess to the server that helped get my second order of damped shells when I had forgotten 2 to the person that brought them out of the kitchen. I mean super nice. The whole trip home with our order smells the car so well that I couldn't wait to get back to our house. As an introvert, I would not immerse myself, very busy place to go with a lot of buszz, not bad just for me. But the food was amazing, and I wished that from this place earlier in our stay. Seriously good food and great staff????????????
