Was AMANDA SILVA at Nellie’s a mag?
The bartender there (dark brown hair younger girl) was AMAZING. She worked the weekend and we where visiting from upstate. She was not only informative but she was so nice and accommodating. The food was good and fresh. Drinks where cold and well made. 10/10 View all feedback.
What Aisling Curran dislikes about Nellie’s:
Irish breakfast was the worst one I’ve ever had. American sausage patty, grossly sweet beans, limp bacon it’s almost as if the chef never had an Irish breakfast before and were just kind of making it up. View all feedback.
Good food Good atmosphere and good music to top it off ?
A great find in East Durham. Food was excellent and service was awesome. Staff very friendly. I ordered the Reuben Burger, something different and it was excellent.
Second visit here. Got the prime rib again as did another part of our four person party. Ordered mine medium and other person rare. She received medium and I received shoe leather. The rest of our party were not impressed with the meals either. Glasses of wine were way overpriced and not consistent pours. Never again, sorry to have to leave this review as a local that would love a decent restaurant near by.
It is quite a large establishment. Super large bar! There is plenty of seating, comfortable, relaxed atmosphere. Waitstaff is pleasant and attentive. The Ruben is the best that I have tasted in New England, hands down, made the way a Ruben should be made and served, for that alone they get 5 stars!
