What Matthew likes about Yeung's Chinese Takeaway:
We ordered a meal from Yeungs Chinese Takeaway at 8pm on 24th April. We collected the order 20 minutes later. The food was cooked to perfection. It’s hard to find a Chinese Takeaway on the same level as the one we regularly visit at home, but this was equally as good. Would highly recommend. View all feedback. What venkmanuk doesn't like about Yeung's Chinese Takeaway:
Quite possibly the worst Chinese I’ve had in a long time. £6.20 for a dry, chicken curry with literally no flavour, no sauce and as close to god awful as it gets. Have eaten here many times before and the food has always been acceptable but this one was shocking! There must have been half an onion it and even that didn’t save the flavour. read moreYeung’s in St. Ives has become a polarizing choice among diners, drawing both praise and disappointment. Many patrons praise the hot, freshly cooked dishes, with highlights including meaty spare ribs, crisp spring rolls, and flavorful chow mein options. However, there are growing concerns over deteriorating quality, with complaints about tough meat, soggy appetizers, and inconsistent service. Despite the frustrations some have encountered with ordering and wait times, several loyal customers remain optimistic, vowing to return for the well-prepared and reasonably priced meals. Overall, Yeung’s experience fluctuates, leaving it to diners to weigh its potential against possible pitfalls.
