Absolutely fantastic dining experience! This is definitely one of the best places we've found to eat in Polzeath, even with two picky kids. The breakfast pancakes are incredible! The prices are great as well. View all feedback.
What Stefan Narkiewicz doesn't like about Valley Bar Cafe:
We have been visiting Valley Park for nearly two decades, and it has always been a wonderful family-run establishment. The bar and clubhouse used to be excellent as well, but unfortunately, they are no longer managed by Valley Park itself; the space has been sublet. What a hidden gem this place is! Tucked away behind the row of shops near the Spa grocery store, you’ll find it at the end of a newly paved drive leading to Valley Caravan Park. We’ve visited this establishment every year, and we’ve always received a warm welcome from the owner. They offer great beer and an excellent selection of Merlot wine. The chili cheese chips we all ordered were among the best meals we’ve had all week—and only £9.00! You’d likely pay around £16 for the same elsewhere. The menu has a nice variety, including plenty of vegan and vegetarian options, which makes me wonder if the owner is vegetarian herself. It’s a fantastic place overall, with friendly and chatty staff. I’d definitely recommend checking it out early in your holiday!
I've dined here a few times and enjoyed both the food and drinks. The fish and chips were reasonably priced and delicious, while the chicken Caesar salad was also quite good. The rosé wine was a great value as well. The staff were friendly and provided excellent service. We will definitely come back!
This is a relaxed spot perfect for campers. There are free sockets available, plenty of space, and a pool table. We even enjoyed some grapes from the conservatory! Additionally, they serve a nice pint. The cost per person is between £10 and £20. Overall, I’d rate it: Food: 5, Service: 5, Atmosphere: 5.

The new owner, however, has provided appalling customer service. She is, at best, indifferent and, at worst, outright rude. On a brighter note, the young bar staff are fantastic and could serve as a great example for her.
