What User doesn't like about The Union Inn:
There is a menu that contains Pommes. I specifically asked if the Pommes were gluten-free and was sure that all their frits were gluten-free, so the pommes would be fine for me, but on the main menu there were fish fried on a beer batter so that I was not convinced. The server came by before my food came and said the frits were not gluten-free after I had a burger in a gluten-free bungalow without the frits. View all feedback. Lovely pub with friendly staff. All the food was home cooked and the portion sizes were amazing. Dog friendly too which is a bonus. Would definitely visit again. View all feedback.

read moreNestled in the heart of St Ives, this charming pub captivates diners with its generous portions of classic British fare and a friendly atmosphere. While the liver and bacon dish consistently receives high praise, other menu items like the fish pie and burgers also impress. Although patrons enjoy the overall dining experience, concerns arise over inflated soft drink prices and questionable gluten-free assurances. Staff friendliness shines through, particularly in accommodating large groups and sporting events. Despite some service inconsistencies and bathroom access frustrations, the pub overall remains a delightful option for both food and camaraderie in the area.
