I had another fantastic dining experience at this hidden gem. The fixed-price three-course menu offers excellent food, with something to suit everyone's tastes. The talented chef and his team deliver outstanding service. I look forward to visiting again. Thank you.
The Ship Inn in Cornwall is a wonderful restaurant with fabulous food and friendly staff. Unlike other famous Chef meals we have tried in the County, The Ship Inn stands out for its amazing dishes and exceptional service. The Soufflé starter was delicious and a popular choice, while the Monk Tail main course was bursting with flavor. My wife enjoyed the Brisket as well. The atmosphere at this dog-friendly pub is cozy and inviting, making it a popular spot. Be sure to make a reservation as it is highly recommended. The Chef even came out to bid us farewell, a rare and personal touch. You won't be disappointed dining at The Ship Inn.
This cozy pub/restaurant may be small, but it offers excellent and friendly service from the serving staff to the chef. The menu is limited, but the quality of the food and the choices available will satisfy most guests. Prices include all three courses, making it a great value. Be sure to check the daily menu when making your reservation to avoid disappointment. We will definitely be returning the next time we are in the area.
A small but very friendly gastro pub. Food was very well cooked and presented. The three course menu is standard for evenings. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. It’s dog friendly if you want to take your four legged friend along.
We came here for my dads birthday dinner in June with our nearly 3 week old baby !! . In hindsight this was very bold of us as it was a Saturday evening but everyone could not have been more accommodating, kind and considerate. We made sure to wander outside when the crying started and my meal was swiftly taken back to the kitchen to keep warm! The food was absolutely wonderful, my partner and I are vegans and the options for us were so tasty and different from anything we’d had before, mushroom samosas for the main. I wanted to leave a review to thank the owners for being so kind to us with our little one and for making sure we were able to enjoy the family celebration : .
