absolutely loved my visit in this place. the menu was simple, but still varied enough for all. I had a brilliant Sunday roast and it was really nice to have one that was delicious and fresh without any of the added pomp that they often get from pubs/restaurants. the desert options were just as delicious when a little filling! the personal was great and everything was well presented. I hope to come back. View all feedback.
What jonahk59 doesn't like about The Plume Of Feathers:
Visited with no res on a Saturday evening. They seated us, and service was prompt and friendly. The facility is quite nice. No complaints there. Having read reviews here on Trip Advisor, had high hopes for the food but was disappointed. The starter of scallops seemed less than fresh, lacking that firm sweetness I'd expect, and every bite was gritty. Perhaps not rinsed thoroughly? Main course was beef shin with cottag... Great stay, great dining stay for 3 nights at the weekend in one of the deluxe rooms. extremely spacious and modern room with fantastic 360 views over the green corn. breakfast and dinner (especially sunday roast) we are fantastic and the staff was also very friendly and attentive. the glass restaurant room is very pleasant in the morning. the £5 bar voucher for the non-creation of the room every day is also a great initiative for the environment we also have a tesla and the hotel offers free charging. what a bonus will return if we are in the opposite
I made a reservation at this restaurant based on a friend's recommendation. The food and service were fantastic, and I would highly recommend this place.
This place has an area in the old building full of character, with a deep well to gaze in. It has a fine large conservatory, ideal for wheelchair (with good toilet). A recent lunch cost £15 for 2 course, £18 for 3 course. A limited a la carte menu, but food was excellent.
You must try the pie! It is truly amazing. Every time we come to this restaurant, we can't resist ordering a pie because they are just that delicious!
