What Mark W doesn't like about The Old Cellars:
Nice spot opposite the beach and a pleasant courtyard location. We had two crab salads at £20 each. They were average although the salad was fresh and plentiful, there was no dressing so it was pretty boring. The crab was only white meat, which I find bland as you need the brown meat for deep flavour. So, overall underwhelming. View all feedback.
My husband and I had a lovely lunch here after our walk from lizard on the coastal path. Had a fantastic prawn open sandwich. Not a cheap place but food and drinks were fab as was the lovely, friendly service
Easily missed at first glance, but well worth checking out. Ideal for fuelling up before a coastal hike, or for enjoying a well-earned treat after a strenuous walk. The seating area is mostly within an enclosed courtyard, with shelter available from the sun (or rain) if required.
We recently enjoyed the most amazing cup of tea at this restaurant. They served us a generous pot with four tea bags for just the two of us, and it was truly delightful.
We stopped here to treat ourselves to a cream tea after finishing our coast path walk from Coverack. We weren't disappointed the two scones and mountains of jam and cream were more than enough to share between the two of us. Staff were friendly...
