We had an incredible experience at this restaurant with delicious fish and chips offered at an affordable price. The waitress was exceptional, particularly in assisting with our daughter's intolerances. The service was quick and friendly, and we would definitely recommend this place. View all feedback.
What Isobel Murray doesn't like about The Galleon:
Apparently it was my fault our order was wrong as I didn't point out it was wrong when I collected it, afterwards they lied on the phone saying that they read the order back on collection when they didn't so it was difficult to say it was wrong, I guess you shouldn't assume they know what they're doing so make sure you double check on collection, terrible customer service blaming customers for their own mistakes, the... About 20 staff employed, yet none worked with any positivity or urgency. Food took ages, and when it arrived underwhelming portion size. Would not recommend.
Really nice fish and chips cooked to order. Lovely staff and a long queue so we knew it would be good. Delicious. Thank you!
Decent fish and chips. We came because they have gluten free options (children are coeliac). Girls loved the gluten free fish and chips, said it was joint with Beck's (Carbis Bay). Saw a lot of reviews giving a poor rating, but our meals were well cooked and as I would expect from a chippy. Can sit outside, but there is limited seating. Inside there is a 6/7 small tables, service was fine. Lots of people having take away and occasionally queued into the sit down area. Great idea to take away and go sit down at Mullion or a poldhu. Free parking in the village which is a 5 minute walk away, would be difficult to park closer.
Lovely young lady taking the orders but the one serving the food was a bit moody. Everything was fresh and delicious
A massive thanks!!! Best fish and chips iv had in years
