This charming village pub is incredibly inviting and accommodating. It was a delightful experience to dine there. The food was also quite enjoyable. Although we departed before the music began, it was evident that many locals were in attendance.

I had a delightful Sunday lunch at a charming village pub. When I made a reservation, I was pleased to be asked if I would be bringing a dog. Although I didn't bring one, I appreciated being seated away from those who did. It was a thoughtful gesture since not everyone enjoys dining near dogs. The service was polite, although a bit stretched thin due to the busy time. The roasts we ordered were generous and nicely presented, with the meat cooked perfectly. The only disappointment was the slightly dried out potatoes. Despite this, I would still highly recommend this lovely pub.

Had both dinner and lunch here while staying locally. Lovely, warm welcome and excellent food. The range of beers, lagers and wine is very good. Dogs are welcome and there's a lovely garden for warmer days. We'll certainly be back for another meal before we leave!!

Great atmosphere and efficient service. Food was very good quality and hearty portions. Staff were very friendly and provided excellent service. Good choice of cask ales that were well kept. Highly recommended!
