Unfortunately we found our Christmas lunch to be poor value for money. At just short of £100 per head more was expected. The venison scotch egg to start was a delight, however the sole was bland. At the main course the vegetables were uninspiring and lacked flavour the roast potatoes were soggy and had definitely been sitting in the hot plate for too long. What a delicious and ever so filling treat. Definitely one of the best high teas I have experienced in the UK. Sandwiches and sweet pastries fit for a queen. Champagne was delicious. Service good, all in all a superb experience. View all feedback.
