What Smiledaisy66 doesn't like about St Mawgan Tea Room:
Such a shame as didn’t live ip to expectations. Lovely quaint teashop but sadly lacked atmosphere. The staff were polite but not really welcoming and the scones tasted like had been reheated in the microwave and we didn’t really enjoy them. Maybe we visited on a bad day? View all feedback.

The tea rooms are beautiful with a village shop and post office. Bonnie and Neil have done an amazing job creating delicious food and drinks in their tea rooms, always serving with a smile!
I absolutely adore this place - the beautiful garden, cozy tea rooms, and scrumptious food are all amazing.
Possibly the loveliest little tea room I've ever been in! Amazing little garden that has had so much love and effort put into it. The service was great, both people that served us were polite and welcoming. We both had a cream tea (one with peppermint, one with earl grey). The scones were huge and warm, but still had a crunch to them, obviously not microwaved like some other places we've experienced! You get a lot of jam and cream and I'm pretty sure the jam was homemade! We had massive pots of tea each which we couldn't finish but they were served in beautiful miss matched teapots and cups, just like traditional tea rooms! The best part is probably that is was so quiet, considering how busy Newquay has been we expected to not get in, but easily found a table in the best spot (next to the roses). Will definitely visit when back in Cornwall and have already recommended to family and friends.
Beautiful little garden. Cream tea was absolutely delicious with plenty of cream and jam.
