Visitors appreciate the generous portions, lively atmosphere, and dog-friendly policy but have reported issues like slow service and poorly executed dishes, including lackluster crab sandwiches and burnt burgers. Although the pub atmosphere remains enjoyable with excellent beer, consistent dining quality seems to have slipped, leaving patrons hopeful yet wary for future visits.
Visited as a couple with 2 dogs. Lovely rooms with plenty of space, decent tele and comfy bed. St Agnes is a lovely little village with a great beach and bars surrounding. Breakfast is really good and breakfast staff were lovely, unfortunately the evening kitchen was closed but from a previous visit would definitely book for an evening meal again. Electric shower. Would definitely stay again.
Sunday roast was excellent highly recommend it. Consistently good, well cooked, hot , tasty and good price. If you are eating here I would book a table as very popular, best in the village.
Perfect spring morning at ST Agnes beach with the dogs we came into town late for lunch. Greeted by charming friendly staff at Coast. The menu looked good. We chose crab and prawn sandwiches on lovely fresh doorstep granary bread.....one of the party went for ham egg and chips which was excellent too!
I’d like to say a massive thank you to the team for a very enjoyable Sunday Lunch today! Sophie was a great waitress, alongside a young male waiter!
Popped in for lunch and ordered a starter size bowl of mussels...blimey I've no idea how big the main size must be!!!....The starter was more like a main!...Happy days!...Partner had nachos and the same can be said for them....well done on great food and excellent service
