Sharon's Plaice

Very disappointed, long wait for a quiet evening to be served with fish and chips in a box, which was ratcheted like pigtails because the chips were so hard. I can't even think what you'd have to do with a kartoffel chip to make it so hard. they had been so often refried that the potato was evaporated and only the crusty shell had left behind. somehow they brought back and got my money back, no apologies, only one look that spares me from the crust of one of their chips.

Every time we come to cornwall, we look forward to a dinner in Sharon’s plaice! eating is always so fresh and tasty, it is honestly the best chippy we have ever been! we will be back again and again!

I've been checking if they were open and read the previous review I found surprisingly. we had the opposite experience where everything was very good, as it was always on several previous travels. the fish was fresh and was very crispy and the chips were plentiful and hot. what is there not to like about fish and chips at sea. .

Ordered cod chips with muddy heaps had high hopes. unfortunately there is very little good to report. the chips were all hanging together soft some of the chips were made from bad quality cuffs as there were a few black pieces. who could not be eaten. the teig had a nice taste, but was very fatty, uncooked on the inside of the fish was thin hard. a very disappointing experience that would not recommend it.

Some of the nicest fish chips we’ve had. Definitely worth it if your looking for a decent chippy dinner!
