Sand - Cornwall,Isles of Scilly

This was once a great place to eat with a lovely relaxed atmosphere. It's now like a canteen with a limited menu. Mainly seafood with little else on offer apart from fairly dull over priced pizza and a and selection.of dull starters We were not impressed.

Food and drinks where amazing the cray fish max and cheese was unreal and the service was fast and really friendly especially Laura she was really great and helped out a lot

Arrived around 3pm thursday, Non of the food on the menu i asked for was available The lager advertised on a big metal sign outside they didnt sell anymore The bar staff wasnt particullary sociable We had a lager which didnt taste very good and then left to go next door along the boardwalk where service was far better We are local 8 miles away but wouldnt rush back to The Sand Bar

Well, supper there tonight was divine intervention. Tonight's meal took me to the edge of heaven, almost made me want to run into the sea, waving my arms in the air shouting Hallelujah!! At last The Sandbar is edible. Tonight I have never been happier...

Our second family vacation to Praa Sands and what an improvement at Sandbar! They accommodated our last minute booking for 9 on a Saturday! Great friendly service. Had to wait a little longer for one of our meals but worth the wait as was delicious!...
