fall on the way to home today and as usual service was spot on and eating excellent, as always ignore the negative reviews do not think that they know a good burger when it meets in the face View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Route 38:
it took a while to sit and then a while before the waitress finally came by, the waitress was annoying and rude. our drinks arrived and my koks was completely flat and tasted very strange. tables were sticky and dirty. when our food arrived...they could immediately say that cheap ingredients were used, the chips were cheap and the burger was bland, literally had no taste, an American restaurant they hope to taste. th... The place was fairly quiet for a Saturday lunchtime. The food was served quite quickly, it was hot and most of it was okay although the chicken strips were more or less inedible, completely overcooked. The staff were polite enough though. Just as an aside,...a glass of cola from a draught tap, cost £3.00, crazy money! We had hoped things had changed for the better but have to say we would not rush back, sorry.
After a disappointing try to eat in 3 other places, we found ourselves at Route 38, where we have eaten previously. On entering, we were pleasantly greeted by a young cheerful lady who said that she could offer us a window table and informed us...that it will possibly be 20 minutes wait for food! Drinks were ordered and served by another cheerful young man. After placing our food order, we didn't wait the 20 minutes and we ordered more cold drinks! Unfortunately we were too full to be tempted to eat the New York cheesecake, this time! Highly recommend the service, lovely friendly young staff and thanks to all for a delightful meal!

Waited to be seated and waited and waited then shown to a two table near the till where staff frequently stood and gossiped long wait on food and not that good watched it sit on the pass for ages hadn't been here for ages and...thought would give it go big mistake will be avoiding at all costs
Not that there will be another viset but if there is ill make sure I bring a packed lunch as a 45 minute wait for two small fry ups when there was a total of 5 tables isent good enough Left and went else where,
