I hate that I have to say this, but we visited this weekend and were seriously disappointed with the quality of the food. When you go to the meadery, you’re not expecting haute cuisine, but soggy chips and just generally uninspiring food all around. Great place with a great theme, more or less all the way through. Food was good, but dessert did seem very 'bought in bulk '. Never had mead before and was great that you could buy small tasters. Cherry mean is VERY sweet BTW! Main course was very tasty, and for me, the steak was perfect. Would 've loved to have seen the theme passed down through the food, like perhaps an all you can eat medieval banquet! Overall, a great place I would visit again should I be in Cornwall again.
