I ordered takeout fish and chips on Friday, December 15th at 17:46 when the restaurant was busy. I paid £19.00 for 2 regular-sized cod portions and one standard portion of chips. The fish was in soggy batter and the chips seemed like they had been cooked for a while as they were not very hot and were also soggy. Overall, it was a very expensive disappointment.

The customer service was fantastic and the portions were large but expensive. The chips were cooked perfectly in terms of temperature and texture, but they lacked flavor.

I'm sorry to say that my takeout fish and chips on February 23, 2024 were not good. The chips were reheated and the batter was soggy. I was very disappointed, especially since I've enjoyed great food from this restaurant in the past.

Dreadful service, eating food couldnt wait to take our plates away, hovering around to take the plates and it was expensive.

Possibly the worst takeaway fish I have ever had. See attached picture of my £8 cod. No, it wasn’t a child’s portion. Used to be a top fish and chip restaurant. Certainly declined in the last few years. Today the fish was inedible. Small, overcooked and dry. Keeping giving the benefit of the doubt. We can all have off days. We won’t be doing it again. Will not be returning in the future.
