What James W doesn't like about Philps:
Reheated, dry, flavourless flaky steak £4.20, really? Had pasties from.here only twice before and that was pre Covid, they weren't good then. Today I thought I'd give them one more go, third time lucky and all. After the very first bite, I knew exactly what I was getting. Two bites in and I thought this thing is going in the bin. Do NOT waste your money in here, there are other bakeries in town use them. View all feedback. What User likes about Philps:
best pasties .. in the world they go to pasties at every visit in cornwall, even if we have to drive. went for the Puff bakery this time and it will be out there, game changer. I have starved to write this review. View all feedback.

read morePhilps Pasties in Camborne has garnered mixed reviews, reflecting a diverse range of experiences. Many patrons rave about the flaky pastry and generous fillings, particularly praising the flaky steak and cheese varieties as delicious and satisfying. Friendly and efficient service also receives commendation, alongside a clean, organized environment. However, some criticism arises over inconsistencies in flavor and portion sizes, such as lacking cheese in cheese pasties. Overall, despite some detractors, Philps maintains a loyal customer base who consider it a must-visit for authentic Cornish pasties, often recommending it to friends and family. A culinary staple worth exploring!.
