Clean, split level bakery then dining area up a couple of steps. Extra dining area at back. Toilets up another level. Food hot and service friendly and prompt. Prices very reasonable. Gift products also on sale. Just coffee, light lunch or full meal. All tasty. View all feedback.
What L3628CEmark doesn't like about Malcolm Barnecutt:
The tea was good, but the toasted tea cakes were stale and tough. I was expecting them to be crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, but I suspect they were a few days old. View all feedback.
To stay in bodmin for a few days, a local taxi driver told us that these pasties were the best. he wasn't wrong. the steak pasty filling was simply perfect and the baked was excellent. I also used the opportunity to buy a chocolate basketcake and a chocolate bag jacket to share with my friend. they just melted in the mouth. I wish I had lived closer!
Eating was good and tasty, glad that we randomly chose this place. no pictures because eating went down too fast

Popped in for a early breakfast as no one else was open. Inside was a lovely room with lots of caricature and history. We had a full breakfast as well as a vegetarian breakfast. Both were lovely along with a nice coffee and good service. Thumbs up.
