What WelshPJ likes about Jon Bouys:
I came across this place by accident but what a great find it was, some of the best fish and chips (actually pie) that I have had in a long time.......this place should have a much higher trip advisor placing, go and visit View all feedback. What rosiej92 doesn't like about Jon Bouys:
The fish was bad quality and inedible. The gravy was similar to Bisto but not as good. The two young male staff members who served me were rude, especially when I asked for salt. They told me to do it myself in a disrespectful manner. Don't waste your money on this place, as the food is bad quality and overpriced. View all feedback.

read moreNestled in a bustling seaside locale, a popular fish and chips spot has garnered a plethora of contrasting reviews. Diners have experienced anything from fresh, delicious meals and exceptional service to subpar, tasteless dishes and rude staff. While some patrons rave about the perfectly cooked fries and exquisite curry sauce, others lament over poorly prepared fish and undercooked chips. Notably, the service leaves much to be desired for some, highlighting inconsistencies in training. Overall, while the restaurant has its fans, the fluctuating quality suggests potential diners may want to proceed with caution.
