What Karen J doesn't like about Game Of Cones:
You would think that as this is supposed to be a good place for ice cream and it being the only thing they sell, that they would know how to make it, it is not rocket science, I have made my own ice cream and it was delicious. So why was the ice cream grainy? Could it be that the sugar had not dissolved properly when being frozen! We had to throw them away as they were inedible, maybe other establishments in town kno... I recently visited this restaurant for a coffee and found the owner to be very rude. I am not sure if he was attempting to be amusing, but his behavior came across as excessive and offensive. I would recommend trying the alternative restaurant across the street for better service.
I had a lovely lunch at Han's Crab Shack and dessert at Game of Cones. The ice cream and waffles were of high quality. I enjoyed the experience so much that I went back a few times. There is nothing better than sitting by the river, enjoying a double salted caramel cone while watching the Bodinnick ferry and sailing boats pass by. The owner is friendly and entertaining. This is a must-visit!
I had never tried "Boozy Shakes" before, so I decided to give them a try. They are a bit pricey, so I recommend going during happy hour from 5-6pm. There are seven alcoholic shakes to choose from. I found them to be very enjoyable, not overly sweet, and with a noticeable alcohol kick. Overall, they were lovely.

Walked upon this lovely ice cream parlour on way to car park. Selection so varied we had to stop and buy. There was a queue but this went down quickly and service was very good . If you love ice cream, try this place, if you don’t love ice cream, try this place , there are waffles and crepes as well as the usual cones. A must for all .
