Memorable. A great wee place that offers excellent food and atmosphere. We had a great welcome and our lunch was delicious. Don't miss this if you are on Bryher. View all feedback.
What OSCARCornwall doesn't like about Fraggle Rock:
When we arrived, the owner appeared to be quite anxious about the new COVID regulations. He reminded me of Basil Fawlty from "Fawlty Towers" when he dealt with the hotel inspector. The open crab sandwiches were disappointing, with a single slice of bread spread with brown crab meat and topped with small pieces of white meat that tasted like they had been defrosted. They were not as good as the delicious chunky ones w... View all feedback.
We had dinner twice at Fraggle Rock during our week on Bryher. Very Covid secure for starters, so we felt quite safe. The food was delicious. The fish and chip night on Friday is a must. The a la carte menu on our other night offered a great selection at reasonable prices. The home made curry was superb. The upstairs bar and restaurant seating was cosy and made for a lovely ambience, whilst the outside tables overlooking the Tresco channel were a perfect setting. We are returning to Bryher next year and Fraggle Rock will definitely see more of us!
Fraggle is my families favourite pub full stop! It's in a special place with fantastic views and a few steps away from Kitchen Par which is such a lovely sheltered beach. We always have our first and our last meal here because the food is fresh and fun and Chris, Sue and staff become such an integral part of our holiday experience. Even with Covid hanging over our heads the pub felt safe; either to eat in the garden or follow the well thought out one way system to use the bar and order safely. Don't forget to book if you want to eat in during busy times! Enjoy!
Ate here on a Tuesday lunchtime in September, scampi and chips very good, nice pint of Korev in the sunshine, and a very well organised covid-safe system
Very welcoming, relaxed and dog friendly. Welcome coffee as we got off the boat and a place to shelter from a shower. The lady who served us was very helpful.
You know that sometimes the veggie option is dull and boring and clearly the chef didn't really want to provide it? Well, I had an especially lovely middle eastern inspired meal. Thank you, it is very appreciated. This is favourite place of ours its relaxed and informal and great for evenings with friends playing board games too.
