Well, we must have come to this cafe on an off-day. We found it very disappointing. The tables were not wiped, the staff were unfriendly, and the jam for our scones was no better than ordinary jelly jam. We wouldn't call here again. For the best catering in the area, go to the restaurant at Trebah. View all feedback.
My husband, some friends, and I were staying in the area and decided to have breakfast at the Cornish Maid. The food was delicious and the cafe owner was friendly, energetic, and humorous. We felt very welcomed. Thank you.
Sarah operates a wonderful and welcoming cafe. The food is all locally sourced, and every time I visit, I plan on just having coffee but end up indulging in the incredible variety of cakes, etc. My grandson always wants to go there. I highly recommend paying a visit - you won't be disappointed. Whether you're in the mood for breakfast, a coffee, lunch, or a cream tea, do yourself a favor and stop by. The atmosphere is very friendly, and Sarah always greets you warmly.
I discovered this great little restaurant on the way to Durgan while staying at a beautiful National Trust cottage. Sarah made us feel very welcome and the food was delicious and reasonably priced. We ended up coming back two more times for breakfast.
Fabulous cafe for a pit stop on our way back from a drenching at the beach. So welcoming, we returned for breakfast a couple of dats later which was superb. Very welcoming, excellent coffee and beautiful bacon sandwiches a real find!
We popped here to escape the incoming rain, hoping for a quick re-fuel. What we found instead was perhaps one of the best hidden gems Falmouth has to offer! The coffee was absolutely fantastic (the best I've had in a long time), the scrambled eggs were perfectly done and the bread was lovely and fresh. Would've been happy to stay here all day!
