What Graham Baumbach doesn't like about Cornish Arms:
The opening times listed are wishful thinking, they only seem to open 3-days a week. I drove past the other week, a lovely sunny Sunday October afternoon. Shut. Why? They clearly have no interest in selling beer. They seem to be currently operating as a restaurant rather than a pub which has turned away most locals who I know used to drink there. The food is over priced for what you get. Crab cake starter's we're tiny pats on a plate and not very tasty. Not everyone wants to complain at the time, especially when you're being treated to lunch.Doubt ewill eat there again.Service charges by law are optional.Everyone gets their off day's.
