The food especially the fish would have been delicious but it was so badly wrapped for takeaway, it was actually sandwiched in a pile of chips what would have been tasty crispy batter , was in fact a soggy mess. Shame cos it tasted very nice. Parking: Generally hit and miss. What Jannerbloke doesn't like about Codfathers:
We called in on the way home from an afternoon drink and cakes party. Still felt hungry but no energy to go on to a full blown meal anywhere. Called in here just for chips. Clinical feel. Reasonably cooked but the small portion was minuscule and the large hardly big enough to satisfy the appetite. View all feedback.
My family's regular Friday tradition. This restaurant is always bustling for a reason - they have the best fish and chips in the area. The only downside is that I wish the portions of curry sauce and mushy peas were larger.
Lovely staff, sadly the quality' and the quantity has gone down,I understand prices have gone up that's not the problem.. Codfathers used to be really good don't know what has changed.
Had fish, chips, sausages and similar at several occasions. always great eating and never had to wait more than a few minutes. defo can recommend.
Staff are really friendly.. Great food at a great price,, I come to Saltash on business and my stay is not complete unless I visit at least once or twice a week... Best fish I've had in ages...
Best fish and chips in surrounding areas. The only better place in Cornwall is Coddy shack in Looe
