Contribute FeedbackThe Blue Tomato restaurant offers a mixed experience for diners from the menu to the service. Some found the food disappointing, with high prices for average dishes like fish and chips. Others, however, praised the beautiful views, friendly staff, and great drink selection, like hot chocolate and smoothies. Despite inconsistencies in opening hours, families appreciate the location and tasty meals, with a special recommendation for the variety of salads offered. Overall, The Blue Tomato offers a pleasant dining experience with room for improvement but remains a solid choice for visitors in the area.
I dined at this restaurant with my family of five and we had a fantastic meal with beautiful views. The staff were also very friendly and I would definitely recommend this place. Additionally, they had a great selection of drinks, including fancy hot chocolate, milkshakes, and smoothies.
My friends and I visited this café on a warm but rainy winter weekend. The location overlooking the Camel Estuary and Padstow was beautiful. We sat in the conservatory and enjoyed a tasty breakfast before a walk and ferry ride. The venue is lovely and in a great location. The food was delicious and served quickly by a friendly and accommodating service team. Thank you, Blue Tomato, for a wonderful experience.
Although I was tempted by the fish and chips, I chose the Garden Burger for a lighter option this time. But I will definitely be trying the fish and chips on our next visit as I am sure it will be fantastic. We have always had amazing meals at the Blue Tomato over the years. Side note: the bathroom wallpaper is lovely.
Came in for breakfast, service was fast, and a lovely veggie breakfast including fried bread and two eggs, very good value too
The “12 inches of pleasure” hot chocolate drink is actually measured at 9.843 inches! will never be coming back here.
