Azura Restaurant And Bar

We received information about booking at the Azure Restaurant and decided to book for dinner while on our way to Truro today. While in Truro, we came across the Italian Kitchen Stall and were impressed by the quality and energy, making us even more excited about our reservation. Upon our arrival, we were greeted by Becky, a lovely and passionate professional who truly embodied the essence of Azure. Becky was a wonderful ambassador for the restaurant, which supports local chefs and caters to both locals and visitors. Hugo also came out to chat with us, and he was a delightful person. As someone who grew up in a family of renowned Italian restaurateurs, I can say that Hugo was truly exceptional. As a vegan, I was pleased to see that the menu offered a variety of delicious options that maintained high quality. The Tiramisu was the best I've ever had, and the fact that they offer home delivery is just the cherry on top. Well done to the team at Azure, with love, Lisa Rich.

In October, the restaurant is only open one evening a week and guests are required to pre-order from a set menu. We followed this process without any issues. However, upon arrival, the restaurant was serving a different menu that did not meet our preferences, leading us to dine elsewhere. What was especially frustrating was that the staff member who greeted us seemed more focused on blaming the Valleys reception staff for the mix-up rather than offering an apology or taking responsibility for not checking in with reception to ensure they had the correct ingredients. This experience was disappointing and left us unsatisfied.

During our stay in June, we dined at this restaurant. We attended both the pop-up night and the fish night with Ondine. Tegen and her team were excellent!

Had a family meal there last week. The food was excellent and the vegetarian moussak the best I ever had . The flavours were amazing. The staff are friendly and attentive. A good evening out and we will definitely go again.

Went along with 4 friends to support their Greek Night recently. Always keen to support local enterprises, especially during these difficult times. At £25 per head, without drinks, we were expecting something really special. Sadly it was not to be. Although the service was excellent, the food was definitely mediocre at best. There was a mix up with the bill when we came to pay even though we had emailed in our orders beforehand and one of our party had popped in earlier in the day to ensure they had our correct orders Would we go back again? Possibly, but maybe just for a light bite next time.
