My wife and I had dinner at this restaurant on August 5, 2016. We were impressed with everything - the service, the food, the ambiance, and the prices. We ordered a 12-inch Philly cheese steak sub for $8.75 each, along with a large order of fries for $3.25 and two cans of Pepsi for $1.50 each. The total bill came to $19.49 after taxes. The service was incredibly fast and the food quality was excellent. The portion sizes were generous and we left the restaurant feeling satisfied. The restaurant itself was clean and welcoming, although it was a bit small. The outdoor terrace was a nice touch, providing a shaded spot away from the sun. Our waitress was attentive, quick, and efficient, so we left her a 15% tip. We took some photos to accompany our review, as we really enjoyed our experience at this restaurant and would highly recommend it to others. Nice clean little restaurant with a varied menu and outside patio.I have eaten there several times, from chicken wings , to baked haddock, baked spaghetti or lasagna , their food has always been tasty ,well prepared and reasonably priced, I generally accompany my meal with a glass of wine and can do so for $ 20,00 tip included. The staff is courteous, friendly and efficient. I would recommend this place to anyone
Love eating at subbay some of the most friendly staff. Great prices for giant servings. They are open late so you can still get some great food even later into the evening.I have even driven 45 min from a job site for a Subbay Poutine.Their chicken wings are to die for also
Subbay in Cornwall offers a varied menu with friendly service and reasonable prices. Customers praise the generous portion sizes and delicious subs, although some report issues with inconsistent food quality and long wait times. Overall, the restaurant is lauded for its cleanliness, efficient service, and community involvement. The outdoor terrace adds a pleasant touch, and the breakfast menu is highly recommended for weekend visits. Subbay's loyal patrons appreciate the late hours, flavorful food options like poutine and wings, and the overall welcoming atmosphere. Despite some drawbacks, Subbay remains a popular spot for satisfying meals in Cornwall.

The restaurant is too hot in the winter and too cold in the summer. The poutine is the best, and the pizza is good.
My fiancé, my son, and I went there for dinner. They ordered the poutine, and I had the fish and chips. Oh my goodness, it was by far the best I've ever had in my life!
My daughter told us about Sub Bay years ago, but we never got around to visiting. I'm glad we finally did—it was well worth the wait!
1.5hrs for a sub the container was melted and opened when I received it. The second one was burnt black and the lettuce looked ancient

I called the restaurant at 7 PM, and they said they would contact the manager and get back to us. An hour later, there was still no call, so I called again, and they promised to reach out to the manager once more. Another 40 minutes passed, and still no call, so I reached out again. This time, they informed me that the owners wouldn't let them address our issue because they were busy. Now, after 4.5 hours, I am left as an unhappy customer who has dined here before but will not be returning. This is a poorly managed business, and my $35 was wasted on inedible food.
Most of the time, the service is excellent, and the staff is friendly and quick. However, there have been some nights when I've waited over an hour for my food, received incomplete orders, or even received burnt dishes. Overall, my experience is generally positive.
The food was overpriced and truly disappointing. I ordered delivery today, and it cost us $30 for a club sub and a chicken Caesar wrap combo, both of which were quite terrible. The wrap was soggy with a puddle of Caesar dressing when I picked it up, the gravy was thick and lumpy, and the chicken in both the wrap and the sub was unappetizing. I definitely won't be ordering from this place again.
Great restaurant and great people...never tried the subs but everything else is the real deal! I think the college students are the lucky ones, I would be there every single day!!

We ordered lunch to celebrate my staff's work anniversary and had it delivered, but none of the orders were correct. I was supposed to receive a chicken salad, but I got a very small salad with minimal toppings, no chicken, and no dressing. We ordered a pita platter and only received the pita. We also ordered Greek potatoes but instead got a salad in one order and fries in another. We had to call back twice just to place our order and then had to call again after it was delivered. We will definitely not be ordering from here again.
The new owner really disappointed me with my recent order. I got the Souvlaki platter, but the meat was dry, and there was no dressing for the salad. The rice was also plain and lacked flavor. This experience deserves the biggest thumbs down ever.

I've consistently had terrible experiences with delivery from this restaurant. The last time I ordered two quesadilla combos—pretty straightforward, right? After waiting for an hour, I called to check on my order only to find out it had just left the restaurant. It finally arrived 20 minutes later, cold and soggy, and to add insult to injury, my drinks were warm despite the freezing -30 weather. This is now the fourth time this has happened; different food orders, but the same disappointing experience. I can understand longer wait times for large orders, but this was anything but. It’s completely unacceptable for any order to take more than 40 minutes, unless noted otherwise on the menu. I won’t be ordering from here again. If it were possible, I would give zero stars.
