The sushi everyone raves about came on stale rice. Wonton soup is packaged broth. Hot dishes were mediocre. Restaurant was freezing; waitress was wearing her coat. 6:00pm on Tuesday and I'm the only one here. Music is Top 40 ****.

Menu was an interesting mix, and honestly, the price isn't bad and anything that ISN'T sushi isn't half bad. Problem is I went for sushi, and when I got it it was very warm, leading to a slimy texture. should have known better, but I ate some, it was a bad night, a very bad night.

Needless... read more I ended up at Ruby as I was driving through Cornwall because I asked my wife to find me a sushi restaurant and this was the address she sent to my GPS. Needless to say, when I pulled up, I sent her a picture and thank you note lol. Against my better judgement, but most of all because I was in a rush, I went in. I began the experience as the only diner in the restaurant at 12:40pm on a Wednesday afternoon. Shortly after, a couple of guys walked in. I wish they hadn't. Their conversation was outrageously inappropriate.The menu is a disaster, a huge mix of every kind of asian food imaginable. Chinese, thai, korean, japanese, etc.Honestly, I tried some sushi and dim sum, and nothing was even decent. Calling it OK is a stretch. There has to be better options in Cornwall and I will not return. On a positive note, I never got sick or anything, but I left hungry yet not interesting in eating.I would suggest you pass on this establishment unless you know something different.

If sushi, and the like isn't your thing then the menu also includes japanese, chinese and thai which can be excellent. They are friendly, happy, and fast to the table. My only complaint so far is that the non-sushi plates tend to be small so if you have a favorite you have to keep re-ordering.

Usually in Chinese buffet places you expect lots of food in a buffet that is so-so quality and possibly lukewarm, but not Ruby's! <br/ <br/ Sushi and other Japanese, Thai and Chinese dishes made to order with a super nice staff that explain everything to you : Glad I tried some sushi! Very well priced too at 19.99 each for all you can eat plus a discount of 20% for a limited time.<br/ <br/ Ruby's is definitely a step above in service, quality, taste, and value than any other buffet/Japanese/Chinese/Thai place i've ever been to :
