I sat down for a latte and a blueberry crumb muffin as Bush’s Chemicals Between Us played. The most delicious coffee and prettiest latte art I’ve ever seen! I’m blown away. Thick, delicious, well-balanced with foam. And it’s huge! You get your bang for your buck here. The muffin is moist and delicious. And the sugar bagels! Hilarious. They even have postcards! I'm not impressed at all. In fact, shocked about the size of the cup that is offered to serve Cappuccino. In the picture is what is supposed to be the biggest cup, which barely had half of the cup of liquid and was priced at almost $5 with tax also, very limited selection of actual breakfast items. I tried one the vegan egg sandwiches on a bagel and it was one of the best breakfast sandwiches I've ever had.
2 Alices is one of the best coffee shops in the Hudson Valley, if not the best. Friendly staff, ample seating for working or socializing, great design and ambience, warm when it's cold, and, of course, great coffee, in a wide variety of options. Offering beer, wine, and some tasty food options too, it's hard to do better. Free Wi-Fi. Trivia night Thursdays at 8, and live music from time to time. Look for local artists and photographers to share their work inside.
