The staff are fantastic and the food is great. I'm really going to miss this place.
The staff made us feel right at home, and the food tasted just like something from mom's kitchen. For under $6.00, we enjoyed 2 eggs, bacon, toast, beans, home fries, and coffee—all included! We arrived feeling welcomed and left with smiles on our faces. You were the final stop on our vacation, and we appreciate you for ending it on such a high note. Thank you!
If I could give this place zero stars, I absolutely would. It’s by far the worst family-run restaurant I've ever been to. We waited an eternity to be seated, and the staff seemed completely oblivious to us, giving us no attention whatsoever. We ended up seating ourselves at one of the tables, even though the restaurant was only about 60% full. Once seated, we were ignored again and had to ask for a menu. After waiting for an hour with no food served, we finally inquired about our order, only to be met with rude responses and complaints about how busy they were. On our way out, we noticed a long line of people waiting to be seated. What a terrible experience!
I had an excellent breakfast there this week. I highly recommend everyone to give it a try!
I ordered the fruit crepe, but it was disappointing. The custard was runny and tasted terrible; the bananas were overripe, and the blueberries had a strange taste, almost like they had glue in them. It didn't really resemble a crepe either—more like a folded pancake. Additionally, my husband's meal arrived so much earlier than mine that he had finished eating by the time I got mine. He had eggs and sausages, which he thought were delicious (though the eggs were small), and he enjoyed the toast made with real butter instead of margarine. The waitresses were friendly, and I don't blame them for the poor service; the issue seemed to lie with the kitchen. If a dish can't be made well, it should be removed from the menu. On a positive note, the decaf coffee was some of the best I've had, without that chemical taste.
