A friend introduced me to this place and I will literally drive thirty minutes a couple times a week for the food. It's got a great little diner style menu (burgers, sandwiches, couple of plate options). If you find yourself inCorning and you skip this place you've done yourself a real disservice.

The fried catfish was fresh, with a buttery interior and a perfectly crispy exterior. The fried okra was just right—crispy without being too bready. The fried green beans were bright and crisp. The steaks were cooked flawlessly, bursting with rich flavor that didn’t require any sauce. Even if you don’t have any other reason to visit Corning, Arkansas, make one just to dine here!

Their chicharrones were absolutely unforgettable, the ribeye steaks were freshly cut and delivered that very day, and the homemade pies were delicious. Don't miss out—stop by and eat!

The waitress was very attentive, and the food was beyond words. I don’t usually write detailed reviews unless it’s a negative experience, but I had to for this one. I’ve eaten at Texas Roadhouse, Colton’s, and many others, and none compare to Halcomb’s. I would give it 10 stars if I could. Thanks for reading.
