First time eating from here, but definitely won't be my last. Ordered the fish and chips for Good Friday and had it delivered. The food was hot and still crispy when it arrived. Great batter on the fish, not too thick, but still.coating the fish well. The fries were cooked to perfection. I also ordered onion rings which were also crispy and fried perfect. Absolutely delicious.. comfort food is right on the money..everything's amazing love the deep fried Mars bar...drool..
Solid burger fries had the Maple Chili Rib Burger patty was pretty good, but the rib meat stole the show. Tender and tasty! Prices are affordable as well. Great spot!
My last day in Newfoundland and I stopped here for supper and had a jigs dinner poutine for the first time, it was absolutely delicious. If you visit Newfoundland sometime and you're in Corner Brook, I would highly recommend you go there a check it out.
They have a unique menu and generous portions. The Jigs poutine was fantastic. The turkey soup was also outstanding, obviously made with fresh ingredients.
