Was TT Naturally93 at Universal Coffee a mag?
Wow! The tamales were fantastic! My husband, who is from Mexico, said they remind him of home. They are packed with meat and incredibly tasty! I also tried the Atole (which is hard to find around here unless I make it myself), and it was delicious as well! I can't wait to come back and try everything else on the menu! View all feedback.
What CJ dislikes about Universal Coffee:
My drink was really bad. I wanted to like this place. The employee was very nice. I ordered an iced chai, and it was very bland. It was almost completely white and barely had any chai flavor. I figured I just needed to stir it, but after it still just tasted like off milk. Unfortunately I was already on the road. I tried to brew and add some tea when I got home, but there was no salvaging the drink. Very disappointin... View all feedback.
The tamales are so good. Mild enough for kids to enjoy, but very good.
I'm enjoying my mexican champurrado with an espresso shot and is delicious.
Bomb tamales, friendly staff, coffee is great. Good prices. Their chocolate/cornmeal drink is A+
This is my go-to spot when I am in town. No nonsense, great service, great coffee. They also have breakfast danishes, and fresh made tamales for a breakfast or lunch meal.Wheelchair accessibility: The walk-up window is handicap accessible.
Ordered tamales, a drip coffee, and the horchata cold brew. All of it was fantastic! The horchata cold brew was to die for! Service was amazing!
