The drinks were delici... read more We had a great time at this restaurant. We appreciated the friendly atmosphere and the conversations in some corners before the pandemic. The drinks were delicious and hard to find elsewhere. It's convenient to have a place like this close to home. We will definitely be returning.

I arrived first with my 5-month... read more My friends and I decided to visit this establishment to enjoy a refreshing cocktail after spending the day at a street festival. I arrived first with my 5-month-old niece in a baby carrier, only to be immediately met with screaming from the staff behind the bar, stating that no one under 21 was allowed inside. I was taken aback and explained that the baby was with me. Despite this, they continued to raise their voices and cause a scene about the age policy. If that is their rule, then fine, but there was no need for the rude and unprofessional behavior towards me and my friends just because we had a baby with us. There are better ways to handle such situations, such as approaching me politely. This experience has left a bad taste in my mouth, and I will not be returning, baby or no baby.

It was not very busy, so we wer... read more We decided to visit this restaurant on a Tuesday night without a reservation, hoping to grab a seat at the bar for a few drinks. It was not very busy, so we were seated right away. Alec, our server, was very attentive and made two fantastic drink recommendations to start off our night. As a few regulars joined us at the bar, we all began chatting and Alec suggested some additional drinks that we all ended up enjoying. The service was truly exceptional, and credit must be given to the owners for encouraging Alec and the staff to showcase their creative skills.

Desp... read more My partner and I were one of only two tables in the restaurant on a Wednesday, and the bartender appeared displeased to have to serve us a round of drinks. Despite our intention to stay awhile, we ended up leaving after being served a mediocre cocktail and beer. While the beer was enjoyable, our overall experience at the restaurant was disappointing.

I ordered a charcuterie board and it came in a small cardboard box. While I understand this is not a traditional restaurant setting, a tray with a little more presentation would have been appreciated. The drinks and beer were delicious, but the service was a bit slow at times, even for just a beer.

However, when we walked in, we felt like we were bothering the bartender. There was only one other couple there who already had drinks. The bartender seemed disinterested and would ignore our attempts at conversation. The drink she made us was only half full, although it looked nice. She was also gossiping about another bartender to the manager or owner who stopped by briefly. I go out for the atmosphere and conversation, and this place was lacking in both. There are many similar places in the area that offer a better vibe. I understand that finding good staff can be difficult, but I would be disappointed to know my guests were treated this way. If the owner improves employee training or makes changes, we might consider giving it another chance. Two stars is generous, but as I mentioned, the drink was visually appealing.

The at... read more Despite its small size, Thigs is a mighty cocktail bar in downtown Cornelius. After over a year of trying, we finally made it to this cute establishment. The atmosphere was lively with a DJ spinning and drinks flowing. The drink menu offered a variety of signature cocktails and seasonal options. The presentation of the drinks was impressive, with cute glasses and pretty garnishes. I enjoyed the banana-flavored Manhattan called the "banhattan" and the clementine blossom served in a small glass with fresh flowers. The drinks were light and refreshing. Thigs has a full bar and offers flights for those who want to try different options. Street parking was easily available on a Saturday night.

We had a great time, learned a lot,... read more Review of Thigs' weekly cocktail classes My friend and I thoroughly enjoyed our experience at Thigs' weekly cocktail class! We had a great time, learned a lot, and tried some delicious cocktails to kick off our evening. I highly recommend it if you're looking for a fun activity for the night. After the class ended, we stayed a little longer enjoying the company of the bartender and our fellow classmates. We tried the Blue Kahunas cocktail, which was deliciously fruity and sweet. If you enjoy those flavors, you'll love it. Highly recommend!
