Even if it's kind of hidden and not easily accessible, the place is wonderful. The food is very tasty, with ingredients produced by the family itself. And to end, the prices are extremely low. I highly recommend it! View all feedback.
The Potenza family operates Il Repole, an agriturismo about 5 km off the main road. Although off the beaten path it is worth the drive if you seek foods indigenous to the Southern Basilicata Region. Almost all the food is derived from vegetables, fruits or animals raised on the Potenza family land. Some of the foods served over the two hour lunch included: yellow bread (what Corleto Perticara is known for), Pecorino cheese with honey, Pecorino cheese with cherry tomatoes and lettuce, pancetta, capicola, soppresetta, egg plant in olive oil, tomato and basil in olive oil, dried sausage (spice and sweet), ravioli stuffed with ricotta cheese in a mushroom sauce, cavatelli with red peppers, grilled lamb chops and sausage, bowl of lettuce with olive oil and vinegar, cheese cake, fresh figs and grapes. The food is fresh and delicious. The family is friendly and accommodating. They do not rush through the multiple courses. If you are in the Southern Basilicata Region and are looking for a relaxing afternoon feast featuring excellent food served by a friendly host Il Repole is the place to go,
Vegetables, meats, cheeses from plants grown and animals raised on site prepared simply and simply delicious. Accommodations spacious with spectacular views of the surrounding mountains. Nothing to do but enjoy a meal and the pleasant company of the owners. Then relax and enjoy the surroundings.

Very nice place where you get food straight from the farm. Fresh products like the cured hams, cheese, tomatoes. Pasta made from scratch, delicious. We were offered a goat cheese from the farm instead of the normal parmesan for our pasta, gave the meal a new dimension. Was served fresh pears from the tree out side, could have been more ripe, but still tasty.
