Came all the way from New York City with family and friends and had THE most authentic Italian dining experience ever! The chef and owner, Samuele, was incredible and a mutual friend. He treated us like kings and queens with fresh fish and burrata but surprise surprise my favorite dish was the Stracotto!
Absolutely perfect Traditional food with a twist of creativity and incredible quality Wonderful wine list with correct prices Even the soundtracks they play were great A beautiful town with historical palazzo wonderful to walk around and digest a Brillo dinner by a very young creative chef
The Owner-chef Samuele is such a passionate and talented one of a kind artist. As soon as You enter the restaurant (corner fireplace, and tall candle holders) you know you are in good hands and will have an extraordinary experience. If you can only do one restaurant in this area, you should go to Sinodia! The food, service, decor, are all AAA . Fabulous souvenirs and can’t wait to go back and try the rooftop terrace.
Sinòdia was by far one of the best restaurants we tried in Salento region. The place is impressive, decorated in traditional style. The menu offers a good selection of Italian wine and fresh seafood. As pasta we ordered their famous troccolo with scampi and a tagliolini with lobster. Both were terrific. Chef Samuele was very kind to greet us at the table and chat for a while.
