Came here for the first time four years ago. They still serve the best pizza I’ve ever had. The pizza is pretty cheap (9€ for it’s size. I ordered 4 pizzas for 8 people and it was definitely enough, they’re huge. The man serving us was really nice. Its sad that not more people come here, at least on a Wednesday evening. And the Ambiente is also great, you feel like home. Really, it’s a great restaurant and I love eat... View all feedback.
What iris heinsaar doesn't like about La Baracca:
They dont speak any English and dont have menu like paper or something. I ordered 2 pastas and one like meat thing. We also get some home wine. The pasta was fine-like home type, the wine was so small and the meat thing was not that good i can say. It was all good but the price what they asked was 40€. I think they kinda asked more than they ask usually. View all feedback.
I strongly recommend this place. The owner is so lovely and welcoming and the food is amazing. I've been coming here almost every day so trust me!
…. arrived late in Cori to get wine from Marco Carpineti, we move to Giulianello where I remembered having eaten well in a roadside restaurant The place I remembered was closed, but along the road there is another restaurant and we rush into it because it's a bit late The owner has been running this place for 3 generations and it's the classic trattoria where you wish you weren't wrong, tradition can't lie We sit down and he suggests the typical dishes, then he tells us that the strozzapreti alla amatriciana go very well with his Cori red, so we listen to him confidently We don't have an appetizer, because we believe and hope it will be quick, in fact after a while 2 plates of steaming and juicy strozzapreti arrive 2 small bowls with pecorino, white and red, as he says, red is a good ground hot pepper We abound in both to bind the sauce a little more, I would have sautéed it a little more, but the flavor was decidedly good and the pasta well al dente as you expect from a home-made strozzapreti, good Undecided whether to take the second, given the abundance of the first we ask him what he had good of the day and he confesses to having made shins that are the end of the world We have one brought to us to share and we're not wrong because the shin is really big, accompanied by huge wedges of baked potatoes, rocket and cherry tomatoes I remove it and we begin the tasting, delicate, juicy and perfectly cooked, the potatoes are cooked very well and finally the garlic was not felt at all, a show!!! …….. I haven't eaten one like this since as a young off-site university student, I worked at the Hotel Ambasciatori Palace in Rome, opposite the US Embassy, but that was a 5-star extra luxury and in the 80s/90s one of the top places in Via Veneto Then crunchy donuts and coffee A wonderful discovery, we will gladly return See you next time
