Sucram - Córdoba

Churros were perfect, hot chocolate thick and sweet. Ziryab cake and fresh orange juice a better bet.

After a long walk around Cordoba and see the ad for Churros outside the Mercado Marquesa we jumped on the chance to get some delicious hot chocolate treats. The Mercado was a beautiful blend of various mini-restaurants and cafés. We found the small Sucram café where we were greeted, actually rudely recognized by the girl at the counter who was busy counting her tips jar. We tried to order some churros, as she quickly looked at us and then said "No, no churros". We were disappointed, and before we even had a chance to ask for something else, they quickly contaminated “Zeo” so that we left. I would avoid Sucram, but all the other restaurants in Mercado seemed nice and the atmosphere was great. Don't let yourself be deceived by the huge Sucram sign outside the mercenaries advertising churros and chocolate, as they clearly...Ciao!

Located in the Mercado La Marquesa, this café serves excellent coffee and Pastel de Cordoba (a delicious pumpkin cake). Overly helpful lady led us to this choice and we enjoyed it very much.
