We breakfasted here two mornings. The coffee is really good. They do tostados. They liquify the tomatoes fresh, to spread with olive oil on the lightly toasted bread. This is a neighbourhood cafe, well off the tourist trail. Next time we’re in Cordoba, we’ll definitely come here for breakfast and stay again at Hotel Hesperia up the road. View all feedback.
En mis paseos diarios, éste es el mejor sitio para tomar una tostada de pan de centeno con un café excelente. Muy buena la atención de su personal. Un referente en la zona para desayunos.
Excellent little half pizzas which were only a couple of euros and very filling! Good strong coffee and an extremely polite lady behind the counter. Very slightly off the beaten path- about five minutes from the big bridge and a nice break after a lot of walking

Came here twice for a quick bite/breakfast whilst staying at the Hesperia around the corner. The food is simple, but just what we needed at the time. The older lady that served us each day was wonderful and very patient with us as we attempted to speak spanish (i think the women at the hotel should take a leaf out of her book.. . We were desperate for a cup of tea (spanish hotels don't provide a kettle in their rooms so ordered two cups with milk (te con leche .. when it arrived it wasn't exactly what we were expecting (a tall glass with hot milk and a tea bag inside i think we need to work on our spanish.. . Regardless of this we still enjoyed it, along with our food, and the lady and her service are what we would return for. Thank you for our Chorizo bocadillos!
We were told of this little gem by one of the locals when staying at the Hesperia Hotel the cafe is just down the road from the hotel, on the left near the little park. The best part of the breakfast was the toasted bread with olive oil and tomatoes yummy! You could have a variety of toppings on the bread so there was something to suit all tastes. There were also several pastries and croissants available too. The orange juice was freshly squeezed and the cafe con leche was also good. The guy who owns the cafe also runs it and certainly works very hard but he also had time to be friendly. It was buzzing with locals and no tourists which was great. It's a tiny place but definitely the best place for breakfast.
