I do not understand why this place isn’t hopping! We stopped by for tapas while wandering near the Christmas market, and the food was spectacularly good. Reasonable prices, okay service, offbeat decor, rather oddly deserted, but wonderful, tasty, interesting food. Give this a try!
Surly service, not insignificant prices and complimentary raw chicken. And Tinto de Verano out of a soda bottle.
It was around 10pm on Saturday night and most of the other restaurants were full and this one,at the time, was empty. It should have been a warning. The food was awful and one person’s meal was served after the other three had finished eating.
We had lunch here and really enjoyed the experience. The food was classic Spanish cuisine, well prepared and full of flavour. The service was friendly and welcoming, which made us feel comfortable throughout. Combined with the nice atmosphere, it was a lovely spot to relax and enjoy a meal. Overall, a very pleasant lunch with good food, great service, and a warm ambience.
This is another restaurant that I stumbled upon while sauntering along the streets of Cordoba’s Center. The picture of the rabo dish pulled me in. I didn’t wait long. I must say that this is an excellent rabo — tender, juicy and savoury. The three huge pieces of rabo were laid on crispy and hot French fries which had a hint of sweetness to it which, I think, they did it this way to offset the richness of the rabo ... I think this was perfection. The waiter charged me for bread that I took one bite of and he reversed my bill right away when I pointed it out to him.
