Taco John's - Coralville

The employees at this location are always friendly. I only come for the potato olés. My bf wishes there was still the little salsa bar like the old Coralville location had. He mentions it every time and it's annoying. Please bring it back!

Love Taco Johns!! And this particular one is always friendly and on top of things. It's also very clean. I dined in tonight and they were kind of slow. A younger gentleman was in the dining area meticulously wiping down all the chairs and tables. Taking the time to get all the scuff marks off the legs. This may seem like am odd thing to notice but its nice to see someone working with a good attitude and attention to detail. So I felt he needed a little recognition for it.Meat and potao burrito and crunchy tacos are my favorite. Never disappoint!

$12 for this is a ridiculous price for what came with the meal for the #9 combo.. even upsized to a large because it wasnt very much extra. I could have spent that amount elsewhere and gotten more to eat. The picture of the main item at this location also shows a normal sized burrito and not a small taco, adding to the confusion when we got our food. I called the store to straighten out why that is and was basically told, Our number 9 is only a grilled taco, sorry. Not much in the way of apology for the wrong picture misrepresenting the item on the menu board in the drive-through. Although the food was bomb so we 'll still be back.

Cashier was friendly but did not inform about taco Tuesday. A customer came in and no one was at counter or in back. He waited and called several times for someone. Eventually someone came. Our tator tots were excellent but hard shell tacos had less than teaspoon of meat. My soft taco had more meat and lettuce. Had not been to taco Bell in years since left location near me but will not go back anytime soon.
