Mellow Mushroom Coralville

I arrived for my reservation, but unfortunately, it was not honored, and the host was unavailable.

We waited 10 minutes without any service, then a guy finally came over to take our order. Moments later, a girl approached us, and we informed her that someone had already taken our order. She responded with annoyance, asking, "Who was it?" When we told her it was a guy, she rolled her eyes and walked off. After our food was served, the female server tried to overcompensate with excessive friendliness to make up for her earlier reaction, which only added to the unpleasant experience. I do not recommend this restaurant.

She rudely asked, “Who was it?” and when we said it was a guy, she rolled her eyes and walked away. Once our food was served, the female server tried to be overly friendly to make up for her earlier behavior, which just made things more awkward. Overall, I do not recommend this restaurant.

The restaurant did not honor my reservation, and there was no host available to assist.
