Wow. We will return maybe tomorrow. ? The savory Gra Paw Moo Grob (fried pork belly) was packed full of charred flavor and topped with deep fried basil leaves. The red curry had a billion layers of flavor, slightly sweet and creamy with tons of heat (but you can set your own spice level). The rice was cooked perfectly. The fish cakes were such a yummy surprise. The Yum Talay (a cold and bright seafood salad) is a nic... View all feedback.
What Lesley Parker doesn't like about Blue Elephant Thai:
I ordered 3 dishes to go with spice level 1 but one of the dishes was super hot and burned my lips and mouth after two bites. I called the restaurant and the person who answered the phone put me on hold three times. I told him that I wanted a credit for the dish that I could not eat, then I was told that the chef made the dish spice level 1 and I would have to bring the dish back for him to look at it. Stopped here over Ragbrai. Got the Drunken Noodles and Yellow Curry. Amazing flavor and perfect amount of sauciness. Would recommend!
We stopped here for dinner. It took a little bit of time for our food but they were busy and they let us know in advance how long it would take for us to get our food. I had chicken fried rice and it was great. Service was very pleasant. It was an overall enjoyable time during our visit.
Order for to go noodles and red curry. The red curry lacked of flavor. I can’t smells kaffir lime, lemon grass, cumin, coriander and even taste the shrimp paste. This was our second order for to go. I don’t know why this restaurant got almost five stars. THIS WAS NOT AUTHENTIC THAI FOOD GUYS! They loaded you folks with a lot of sugar. No wonder diabetic significantly increased among US adults.
They’re short staffed so don’t expect stellar service. I will say they did bring out my food faster than I expected.Had the coconut soup and spring roll. The soup wasn’t my cup of tea but the spring roll portion was sizable and worth the price. The basil fried rice was just okay enough to satisfy your hunger but nothing fantastic.

And the atmosphere was bright, unique, and relaxing and very well kept.Dietary restrictions: Many excellent carb conscious options.
