My group came for lunch today. The food wasn't our expectations. Everything was perfect and really delicious. Hospitality is excellent, everyone was friendly and attentive. The proportion of food has also bleededed us away. We did not expect that the portion was so much that we were overriding and had everything for the left dinner, including fried rice was still in the kitchen. We would consider it for the next visi... What Dom Jr doesn't like about The Namu Korean Japanese Kitchen Izakaya:
Definitely will not make my (go to) list when visiting this side of Florida. The place is clean, including the bathroom. The wait staff were both courteous and attentive. But the food it was ok at best. The hot wings were not hot@ all, the beef rib lacked that traditional K-town flavor, the fried rice was a bit above average, but everything else was edible but just bland. View all feedback.
In general, I love this place. Have been coming for over a year. Food is consistently good. Atmosphere is quiet and relaxing. I love the button to summon the staff. There are 2 reasons I didn 't give 5 's and they are as follows #1, the alcohol is EXPENSIVE for what it is. You can buy the same Soju at Total Wine for $8. NAMU charges $16+.#2 For $25 I feel the potion size of the grilled pork belly is too small. Their other BBQ items you get a lot but the pork belly is lacking. I have provided pictures showing the difference between the bulgogi and pork belly portions.Other than those issues I highly recommend NAMU.
The service was quite efficient, however the food definitely made the trip completely worth it.Food: 5/5
Lovely Korean bbq flavors, authentic kimchi soup, beautiful galbee, massive assortment of sojuVisited with my family and my year old son, great service to all of usReally enjoyed it and will go back as soon as I can
I wish I knew about this place earlier. The atmosphere is super chill and the bar area feels like a real Korean setting. I loved all of it dishes which includes fries, chicken wings, fried croquettes, shrimp tempura, and dumplings. The sake tasted sweet and delicious.Food: 5/5
Nice Korean style restaurant and great service. We started with the Fried Takoyaki and Korean Fried Chicken/both very good. Then the Hakata Donkotsu Japanese Ramen/good, Spicy Beef Korean Ramen/good and Pork Bulgogi Fried Rice/OK. Before we have tried the Rose Ramen with Beef Bulgogi/very good, Spice Kimchi Pork Bulgogi/very good and the Japanese Curry Panko Cutlet/very good. Must try this place.Kid-friendliness: YesParking: Lot's of parking spaces.
