Petes Place Family - Coral Springs

Pete's place is closed and judging from some of the really bad reviews lately I'm not surprised.... I really enjoyed the salad they made with pecan's, raisins, fruit, tomato, chicken and hard boiled eggs I'm gonna miss that

The service was wonderful but the food could use improvements. I ordered the double Pete's, which consisted of home fries, bacon, eggs, and sausage. The home fries were tasteless, the sausage had a weird porky flavor and bacon was refried. I did like the eggs and toast but other than that, it was not great ? . I wonder if the owner ever tasted the food that he/she is selling.

Two stars because the service was great! Not five stars because the food needs improvement. Came for breakfast, home fries potatoes were flavorless and dry.. I wonder if they use frozen stuff. Hashbrowns tasted like a dirty rug.. like if they wiped the plate with a wet mildewed towel, cooked on one side, raw on the other, no season, no flavor. I hope mgmt reads these reviews, and they make changes not to just sell food for , but to sell food so customers come back! the place has great potential but the food definitely needs QUALITY.

This place has a welcoming atmosphere for everyone, including small children which is what earned a star.The service is on point which earned a star.The restaurant was clean which earned a star.Where it fell short was the food for me and my party. My kids only ate the sausage links, didn’t touch their eggs, or French toast. (The French toast did look good! They also didn’t touch their fruit bowl which did not look fresh.My meal and my friend’s meal looked very similar even though we ordered different things. All of Our eggs arrived flat like they’d been pressed down with a spatula. Hash browns and home fries were bland.Our biscuits were a smidge on the burned side.

Visited once, decided to return. Should have made a better choice. I ordered catfish breakfast and my fish wasn't cooked all the way through. I sent it back and was told it would be re-made. To my surprise the food came back out just as I sent it in, Pete disrespectfully just dropped the pieces of my fish back in the fryer and sent it back out to me. No apologies, explanations or care for me as a patron. I won't be back, there's plenty of local breakfast spots that will respect my dollar and offer better customer service!
