Visited Honest restaurant on our trip to Orlando. The food was delicious with a wide range of Indian vegetarian options to choose from. The service was very good. We visited the restaurant many time and each time, the quality of the food was excellent. Even on the way to the airport, we went for lunch and even then, the service was very quick and the food was very nice. Definitely recommend going there if you visit O... View all feedback.
What Shilpa Makwana doesn't like about Honest Indian Vegetarian:
We have been to this restaurant many times. Now there is a new owner who is rude and inconsiderate. He was on phone making personal calls constantly even when we were at the counter waiting for his attention. He looked at us but continued on phone. He did same thing to another customer. We ordered a mahisoor masala dosa and he gave us a masala dosa. We went to the counter to tell him that and his response was NO you... View all feedback.
We ordered Swaminarayan Hakka Noodles and Fried Rice. Both tasted exactly the same and full of ginger. We are from Atlanta and the food is very different and much better.Dietary restrictions: Has Swaminarayan friendly options

This used to be my go to place for dinner even though I live far away but lately all services have taken a huge toll and they are not able to deliver good service and food.I am not sure what factor plays the role but some days they give the best vegetarian Indian food and many other days they give not so good food. They have very staple indian food items on the menu, and as a regular customer I expect consistency in taste for those food items but lately they are failing to meet the expectations. We used to drive 40 min plus just to enjoy good indian food but the last few visits have ruined all those experiences.Recently we were planning to dine in and did call them in advance to see how long you will accept dine in. We reached there before that time and they simply denied the dine in service and were telling us to do the take out. We drove 45 minutes to get there and returned without anything. The girl who talked with us on call was there but no acknowledgement of the mistake and didn't even care for customer satisfaction.Vegetarian options: All items are strictly vegetarian here.
My order for that day was $82. The cashier was confusing my order with some one else and came to my table telling that my bill did not go through however I showed my card pending transaction for 82. However I just noticed a few days later that he has charged me for $102. I don’t know where the $102 came from. Charging more on the bill without consent is extremely bad.
Loved the pav Bhaji here. The food tastes really good. Very authentic. I recommend also trying the bahubali sandwich. For appetizer we got gobi Manchurian which was delicious. I highly recommend this place if you are vegetarian. There is no table service, you order at the counter and sit at an open table. Only thing I didn't enjoy is the cheese naan but that might be an acquired taste. Highly recommend this place for good vegetarian Indian food.
